This was a nicely constructed bag, but boy oh boy is it heavy! Even empty this bag has weight to it. Even with just my basic purse contents (wallet, iPhone, checkbook, coin purse, and a few misc. cosmetics) it was heavier than I like... Let alone when I added my iPad and a notebook. Seriously was starting to make my back hurt! I also found it to be a bit lacking in pockets. And as other reviewers stated, the outside pockets it did have, often did not stay closed. After a month of carrying it I had to go find a lighter bag with more pockets. By leashells
