I bought two of these jackets due to an error by another company, but with how much I loved the jacket I kept the other as a backup.The jacket is fleece lined, so if it is humid out the jacket will get very warm very fast. On less humid and cooler days this jacket is great, it breaths and it keeps you dry. It is made very well, and I do not know if I will even be using the "back up" for I think I would have to get this jacket hooked on something sharp for it to tear. I usually use the jacket as a casual jacket but hiking would be great and it is pretty light. By Fish
